Oda Eiichiro and Kishimoto Masashi Attend Project Social Kingdom

The project “Social Kingdom” started on May 18th together with the release of Vol.26 of the manga Kingdom. To celebrate its latest Vol.26 and the anime adaption, this special project “Social Kingdom” created a new model “1000 for 1” which means drawing one volume by 1000 people. In Vol.26, there are approximately 1000 panels, and one person only illustrates one panel.
Many talented manga artists like Araki Hirohiko (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure), Inoue Takehiro (Slam Dunk, Vagabond), Motomiya Hiroshi (Salaryman Kintarou) and voice actors of anime Kingdom, even many celebrities declared to participate in this project as soon as it started. Now the latest news said that Oda Eiichiro (One Piece) and Kishimoto Masashi (Naruto) also decided to attend this project from June 2ndwhen it’s coming to a close. Currently 1045 of total 1153 panels have been finished.

It’s a project open to users. As long as you have Twitter or Facebook account, you are able to take part in it. Choose one panel and draw your own version then upload it to the site. Users can click the feature “like it” to support the panels that they like. And when the project ends, the 100 most popular participants can get the book “Social Kingdom” as a present.
What’s more, the author Hara Yasuhisa’s original storyboards of this Vol.26 which has never been published is free to view now on the site http://socialkingdom.jp/.
